I have to try this one more time. Of course, this forecast is only for Pennsylvania.
For the Philadelphia area, no big surprises. Temperatures and precipitation will be close to normal. The same is true for northwest areas of the Commonwealth. But a normal winter there means cold and snowy.
For areas of the State, north and west of the mountains look for normal temperatures and dry conditions through most of the winter.
For areas south and east of the mountains outside of Philadelphia, look for temperatures slightly lower than normal and a very snowy winter, as moisture from the Gulf of Mexico will be streaming north through the Tennessee and Ohio Valleys and places like Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Lebanon will see record snow totals this winter, with several snowstorms of a foot or more of snow. Snow totals this winter could reach 50 inches or more in this area of Pennsylvania. While Philadelphia will have a mixture of snow. sleet, freezing rain and just plain rain throughout the winter, but not in large amounts.
There's my forecast for Pennsylvania this winter. And I do feel very strongly about it. So the capitol are of Pennsylvania better get prepared in case I am right.

- I'm going to Hawaii for the winter.
